This weekend I showed my work to the public for the first time at the @thedcpg yearly show at Kingsbury barn in St Albans.
A stunning location in a barn that’s over 700 years old 🤯

Sisters 👯&zwj;♀️

A very special commission for two sisters. Designed to belong together but also work as stand alone pieces. A way to remind them of each other whilst they are far apart 🌍

Made in stoneware and raku fired with a crackle glaze.

Often I hear tawny owls when I sit in my shed at night. I love owls. So had to make some.
These sculptures are left unglazed and only coloured black by the smoke after firing them.

I always find something I don’t like with everything I make, but these two came out 🤌🤌👌👌. I’m going to allow myself to be completely happy and proud of them on this occasion ☺️
